Ebro on a kayak between the 2 beautiful villages of Miravet and Benifallet. Your journey will take you approx
2hrs 30mins paddling down stream where you can take in the historical site of the famous Miravet Castle,
the spectacular mountainous scenery and eye catching wildlife. For more information please visit their website.

RAMBLING – If you are a keen rambler or just enjoy walking, there are several different tracks
right on our doorstep that you can venture to, on and through. One is a newly promoted nature trail, which runs
directly alongside The River Ebro. Or from a different aspect you can walk from the village up the mountain road
to visit our local famous caves. Or through one of our many off road tracks leading to our local surrounding farms.
Choices are plentiful and each route you chose to take has its own magic and serenity.
This part of Spain is absolutely breathtaking and compliments the charm, charisma and friendliness of this typical Spanish village of Benifallet.

RIVERBOAT and CAVES – You can buy a ticket to combine the Benifallet boat trip with
a tour around our very own caves. The boat trip takes you on a short trip upstream showing you some of
the strange rock formations and beauty of the mountains from a different aspect. The trip takes approx 45mins – 1hr.
Then you need to take a short drive up the mountains or a brisk walk if you have the energy (only for the strong hearted)
for a tour of our small but beautiful caves. There is a café/bar when you reach the caves so you don’t need to take a pack lunch,
as refreshments are available. If you decide you want to lunch in the breath taking surroundings there is a menu available,
although very basic food of pizza or filled baguettes. The scenery is worth the stay. Please note that if you would prefer, you
can buy separate tickets for both the River boat and the caves.

MIRAVET CASTLE - You must take a camera for this trip. To get to Miravet you need to take
a short (10 min) drive to the Miravet car ferry, which is one of the very few river current, operated ferries.
Once you reach the other side you can park your car up in the square and take a 15 minute walk through the village and up the mountains
(not for the faint hearted) or you could take a 2 min drive up the mountain road to the castle, following the signs. The castle is
quite small so will not take long to see all there is too offer, but the history is interesting and the views that can be seen from the top
of the castle are breath taking and worthy of a visit.
After you have seen the spectacular views of and from the castle, a visit to the river side square is an
absolute must either for lunch or a short drink stop and tapas before returning to your day either back
via the river crossing or you could drive through the countryside route passing through El Pinnell our neighbouring village.
