FLYING - When flying to Spain you have the choice of two destination airports, one is Barcelona and the other is Reus. Reus Is the closer of the two at about 50 minutes drive to Benifallet, where as Barcelona is approximately 1hour and 40 minutes. If you travel from Stansted to Reus we have found that Ryanair are the cheapest airline available. However flying to Barcelona is generally cheaper and has more availability from most UK airports.

CAR HIRE - It is advisable to book your car hire well in advance especially if you are planning your holiday in peak season. Hertz ,and also Europacar Hire

DRIVING - Driving to Spain you need to allow two days as it is about 1,100miles from Calais, this option can work out quite expensive as crossings can cost up to £250, with motorway tolls at around £100 plus fuel and accommodation. If this option is preferable we recommend that you book with Sea France (0033 825044045) as we have found them to be the cheapest means of crossing in the past.

NON DRIVERS - If driving is not an option you can catch a train from Barcelona airport to Tortosa or L’Ametlla de Mar where we can arrange for you to be picked up and taken to your chosen accommadation. This option is only available if staying in Benifallet. Again if you are unable to hire a car arrangements can be made with your guide for transportation to & from your cat fishing trips.
